When You Find That Place (Where You Need to Die)

When You Find That Place To Die

When you find that place
(Where you need to die)
By
Turning and running
Full speed
Toward the pains
Toward the voids
Toward the fears
Toward the insecurities
That
Pollute your waking,
That
Pollute your dreaming,
That
Pollute your loving,
That
Pollute your soul.

When you explore that place
(Where you need to die),
And
You make it sacred
By calling upon
Forces and others
Greater than you
Who you can now acknowledge
As
Having greater love,
As
Having greater wisdom,
As
Having greater faith,
As
Having greater respect,
In
You
Than you ever allowed yourself.

When you can share that place
(Where you need to die),
It is not your tears
It is not their tears
It is everyone’s tears
That form monsoons
And
Raise the streams
And
Fill the dry washes
And
Flashflood away
The
Pain and debris
That
Littered the terrain
Of
Your soul
Your body
Your life
That
You once judged
That
You once knew
That
You once lived
As
Being
So
Incapable
Of amounting
Of attaining
Of healing
Of being
Of loving.

When you heal in that place
(Where you once died),
You
Become the sun
(Beyond the day),
You
Become the moon
(Beyond the night),
You
Become the star
(Beyond the universe),
You
Become the wind
(Beyond the breeze),
You
Become the rain
(Beyond the storm),
You
Become the moment
(Beyond all time),
You
Become the voices
(Beyond all words),
You
Become the songs
(Beyond all music),
You
Become the path
(Beyond all dogma),
And
Pleasing
To
The Angels.
